In December 2022, faced with the cost of living crisis in Ghana, I decided to forgo my annual trip and channel the funds towards supporting single mothers, street-connected kids, and their families.
It was during this search for a sustainable approach that Triple A Clothing emerged—a beacon of hope using fashion to empower and narrate the stories of the less privileged, particularly street-connected kids.
Triple A Clothing's endeavours harmonise seamlessly with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming at eradicating poverty, preserving the planet, and ensuring prosperity for all. Notably, Triple A Clothing's initiatives echo several of these SDGs:
- SDG 1: No Poverty—Providing essential necessities to street-connected children.
- SDG 4: Quality Education—Delivering educational programmes that empower these children.
- SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth—Equipping these children with vital skills for a brighter future.
- SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities—Actively addressing the inequalities faced by street-connected Youth.
- SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities—Diligently working towards creating a society where no child is forced to endure life on the streets.
While we faced challenges in achieving sales to fully support this year's A Smile for Christmas, we turned to online donations and a cultural day featuring Ghanaian cuisine. This innovative approach enabled us to reach a significant milestone in our first year.

🇬🇭 Partnering with Starlight Foundation in Ghana for their annual Feed the Street campaign, providing meals for 500-1000 street-connected kids and families.
🇰🇪 Serving as the main sponsor for Ark of Hope Foundation in Kenya, delivering essential food items to underprivileged families in Bungoma.
🇺🇬 Making a donation to the Centre of Love Children Ministry in Uganda and Love Melody Orphanage in Nigeria 🇳🇬, supporting and feeding orphans during Christmas.
